Dorothee Oberlinger ist als Blockflötistin ein Star: gleichermaßen Solistin, Leiterin eines Ensembles, Dirigentin von Barockopern, Hochschulprofessorin und Kuratorin als Intendantin der Musikfestspiele in Potsdam und des Festivals in Arolsen. Sie stellt in Darmstadt ein Programm mit Vivaldi-Werken vor, dass sich der Natur widmet. Im Rahmen des Barockfestes ist Dorothee Oberlinger auch Fokus-Künstlerin am Staatstheater Darmstadt.
